At St Mary’s, our aim is to provide the children with an opportunity to take part in a wide range of sporting activities. Our physical education curriculum is planned by the Oldham Active coaching team. Together, we have designed a programme to fit with the national curriculum objectives for each year group. All class teachers are involved and supported in the teaching of lessons in order to provide high quality P.E for all year groups. This covers athletics, games and gymnastics. All class teachers deliver dance lessons using an online digital platform. Pupils in year 3 also undertake weekly swimming lessons.  Furthermore, we offer a wide range of sporting opportunities with our daily after school clubs and regular off-site competitions.
