Homework is reading (at least x3 weekly), spellings and learning facts from our Science and Topic knowledge organisers. We expect the children to read and revise their spellings every night. Spellings will be given out on Friday and will be tested on the following Friday. Knowledge organisers will be uploaded to Google Classroom for each topic and children will be asked to learn these facts. Maths homework will be provided online via Deepening understanding website, parents will be informed of logins when this goes live.

Things to Remember

PE kit – Please send your child in with their P.E kit on Monday. P.E kits need to be kept in school during the week. It can be taken home when it needs to be washed.

School bags – Children need a school book bag for their diary, reading book and homework. Please encourage your child to read every day by signing their diary on a weekly basis.

Stationery – Some children are really keen to use their own pens and pencil cases in school. However, this is not necessary as we provide children with all the stationery that they need.

School uniform – All the children look really smart in their new uniforms which reflect our high standards. Please can we make sure that all uniform is clearly labelled and please ensure earrings are only simple studs. Bracelets and bows in hair are not permitted. An Always badge should be worn at all times.

The date for swimming will be sent out to parents when it is safe for swimming to commence.
