Homework
Reading - target of three or more home reads a week signed in diary by parent/guardian.
Spelling test - given out on Friday and tested the following Friday.
Homework – Homework is reading (at least x3 weekly), spellings and learning facts from our Science and Topic knowledge organisers. Knowledge organisers will be uploaded to Google Classroom for each topic and children will be asked to learn these facts. Maths homework will be provided online via Deepening understanding website. Children’s log ins will be stuck in the inside of their diaries on the first week of school.
Things to Remember - Summer Term Second Half
PE
PE will be taught indoors and outdoors.
Indoor P.E kit: Plain white t-shirt, plain black shorts and pumps.
Outdoor P.E kit: Plain white t-shirt, plain black/blue tracksuit pants and black trainers.
This half term, we will be taking part in athletics.
Bring in book bag and diary every day.
The Sacramental Programme
The children are about to begin the next stage of the sacramental journey. The children will receive the sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion. We will work with you and the parish to ensure that this year is a happy and holy one. Over the next few weeks the dates for the sacraments will be arranged and we will inform you as soon as possible.
