Year 5 Gallery of Events 2020-21
Take a look at some of the fun things we have been doing in Year 5.
Wellbeing - Tuesday 16th March 2021
The wellbeing ambassadors and Mrs Dobrowolski hosted two, very much enjoyed by all, wellbeing afternoons. The first 15 children in the register blew everyone away expressing their emotions and saying positive affirmations about all of their class members. Well done especially to the boys in the group who were amazing when opening up and talking to the group about their feelings. We then designed heart shaped positivity mottos and displayed them in a rainbow shape in the togetherness area. After a drink the snack we blew up balloons with any worries or anxieties then let them go in the playground. Thank-you children for making everyone happy.
Wellbeing - Wednesday 17th March 2021
The second group voiced their emotional numbers then again voiced positive comments about their friends. We then read a small text in which they thought about their happiest memory. They now have a happiness switch. The children created hearts of hope and also used their names to create their own crest of values and positive messages. We then planted seeds to show resilience and ended the session enjoying a sunny spell in the school garden. This group also performed a talent show using sign language!
